Warren Kinsella, 2018
Women of Canada:
Do not re-elect Prime Minister Flaherty - he has a hidden agenda to take away your right to an abortion. Don't be fooled by the last 12 years of Conservative rule. They plan to spring their hidden agenda on us any minute.
(NOTE: No, this isn't an attempt to distract you from the fact that this forth leadership bid from Michael Ignatieff is completely devoid of purpose other than vanity.)

Warrens a real pip, somehow my comment didn't make it thru his rigorous moderation. Seems he didn't like the reference that he was in effect protecting the abusers who aren't happy when their women won't get an abortion on their demand and then proceed to beat the tar and baby out of them. Currently Bully Boy is only getting charged with domestic violence. Guess the Baby that the woman chose to carry birth to is a freebie then in his books?
"Resolution P-207...seeks additional charges for anyone who harms or kills an unborn baby while attacking a pregnant mother."
This is a problem for "progressive" people?
The horror....the horror.

It was my first instinct, but then thought of the whole, "how many years out of Calgary"....
I was then going to go with Prime Minister Dumont.
So, I settled on Flaherty - a Lachiner.

My comment didn't make it though either.
All I said was that it seemed that he had lost a step and his smears were a pale imitation of his earlier work. I thought it might have been from all the beatings he took from Ezra and Kate, they might have slowed him down more than he realized.
It's sad to see a performer trying to recapture old glory after he's clearly slowed and his skills have dramatically faded.
The game has passed him by, he should have stayed retired instead of embarrassing himself like this.
All the collagen and botox and silicone in the world won't be enough to rejuvenate his tired old carcass.
Pity.

I can't believe that Warren would stoop to dragging out the "hidden agenda" canard. He's said a lot of nice things about Harper in the past few years, and now he's resorting to this because he's back in the fold? It's beneath him. There's a lot of not-so-hidden agenda stuff that he can take issue with, why does he have to resort to the tired cliche that was used to haunt Day and candidate/Opposition Leader Harper?
The metamorphosis of Warren Kinsella ... from aged rock 'n roll wannabe to political curmudgeon ... A Liberal.
The name "Warren Kinsella" and the word "credibility" do not belong in the same sentence, although I have found that his name does work very well with "idiot".
Can we drop the canards and rationally discuss policy matters? It's embarrassing enough that Kinsella dragged out the "hidden agenda," it's doubly so that the "Liberals will steal your money" malarkey is still as fervently strong as it is. There's a reason that many Canadians don't pay attention to political discourse in this country, and this lowest-common-denominator stuff goes a long way in that.
and now he's resorting to this because he's back in the fold? It's beneath him.
RGM, I think you would be surprised at how little is actually beneath Mr Kinsella, when he sets his mind to it. The silver lining is that I don't think the Liberal campaign can go back to the well on this particular smear this time 'round.

Here, here RGM. (Or is that hear, hear? I never know...) I agree that Canadians are fed up with this stupid partisan jibing. I have no interest in a political life with kindergarteners. Kinsella is an idiot, so is that Anonymous Poster.
O/T , just read a favourable review in the National Post (of all places), of a new vampire flick, "Twilight", which opens tomorrow.
Find your favourite vixen, and go out for a bite.
(google : Love and the vampire - National Post)
Oh, and I'm sure there are some zombies in it, Chucker...

Jason Bo Green, according to Wiki:
"Hear, hear is an expression used as a short repeated form of hear ye and hear him. It represents a listener's agreement with the point being made by a speaker."

Actually, Vampires don't suck...
They draw emotion, and perhaps love, out of the deepest recesses, of your soul.
Gradually, fervently, and poetically..
